So I haven't written much (OK, at all) lately. I guess I don't find my life exciting enough to share or something...anyway...I'm going to try harder. I promise.
So last week a sweet and wonderful friend of ours gave us tickets to last night's Spurs game. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't get to go to games unless they are in our budget (read: FREE) so I was SUPER excited. We decided to take Joey with us since we've been using up a lot of our "free" babysitting friends so that I can work and I certainly don't want to take advantage of anyone. So, we donned our Spurs gear and headed off to the
SBC (
ok, AT&T...whatever) Center. Our seats were AWESOME (section 110...front row on the end!). Having a friend with season tickets is totally a bonus! The game was really fun, however I realized that if I actually want to REALLY pay attention to the game it is better for me to stay home. There is SO much going on that I had a hard time actually watching the game (ADD-
ish anyone?). And if I was paying attention to the game, I would lose track of the score. It was kinda funny actually. Nevertheless it was fun to be there and really get into the action (what's up with
Manu's technical anyway?!? totally bogus!) Anyway, we had a great time and Joey was really a trooper. He stayed awake and happy until about the time the Spurs were up by about 20. When he realized that the game was in the bag he fell asleep. It was really cute to see him in his Spurs gear asleep on Daniel's shoulder. I wish I'd had my camera.
Tonight we're headed to Junction for Easter. I'm excited. It should be a nice (but quick) trip. Pictures soon to follow I'm sure.
Wishing you and yours a blessed Easter,
The Evans Family
